Junior School Principal’s Message

Junior School Principal’s Message

“It is not about how smart you are, it’s about HOW you’re smart” – Howard Gardner.

As a school, The Amaatra Academy, recognizes that each student is unique and we intend to identify and harness their intelligence. Consequently when recognized he develops into a confident individual ready to face the world at large.

“If we succeed in giving love of learning, the learning itself is sure to follow” – John Lubbock.

With interactive and hands on learning experiences and an enriching student-teacher relationship, we develop the love of learning, making it as effortless as we can. A day in The Amaatra Academy essentially comprises of confabulating eager minds, teachers facilitating the process of knowledge construction and a healthy peer scaffolding in and out of the class. At The Amaatra Academy, we intend to instill the core value of PES group of institutions – Perseverance, Excellence and Service – in our students. We believe that a student who is emotionally sound and academically positive, can develop his/her self-esteem, self-awareness and self-confidence.
We strongly believe in the importance of teachers, parents, and administrators collaborating and communicating openly and frequently for the wholesome development of the child. Parents who help their children succeed academically gain a sense of pride in their children as well as in themselves. Parents who contribute to their childrens’ all round growth, visibly demonstrate to their ward just how much they value the actualization process of their latent potential. We also hail the invaluable support rendered by such enterprising members of our parent community.

“Children must be taught how to think and not what to think” – Margaret Mead.

The teaching Fraternity of The Amaatra Academy are well equipped to do exactly what Margaret Mead said. We have active PLC (professional learning community) of teachers on a periodic basis. These PLCs help us in keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field of education. Bronfenbrenner believed that a person’s development was affected by everything in their surrounding environment. At The Amaatra Academy, as a part of creating this conducive environment, we provide state of the art infrastructure and healthy student-teacher and parent collaboration. We also look forward to a sustained patronage which would help us serve our society effectively.
